She was a beloved wife, mother, daughter, sister, grandmother, aunt and friend who was lifted away too soon to be with the Lord. Aylene's strength and memory will live on and be cherished by her partner Daniel Paulic, son Mark Klassen (Jennifer Gibson), grandsons Adam and Seth, daughter Charlotte Neufeld (Randy), granddaughters Marah, Arren, daughter Michelle Klassen (fiancé Adam Bernhardt). She also leaves to mourn her mother Sadie Plett; sister Donna Anderson (Duane), daughter Denise and sister Glenda Holod (Kas); brother Lyle Plett as well as many good friends. She was predeceased by her father Jake Plett and husband Arthur Klassen. Aylene was born in Morden where she also began her family. This became her full time career while living on a farm in southern Manitoba. In 1990 she chose a new career path of an insurance broker which included working for HED Leipsic Insurance, Ryan Gateway Insurance Brokers Inc. and Flanders Insurance. Aylene had found her niche in life as she enjoyed meeting new people and was an outgoing individual. We are all proud of her accomplishments. Aylene enjoyed life to the fullest. She had a competitive spirit as well as a mischievous sense of humour. A most wonderful friend to many. Aylene was never afraid to tackle a new challenge. She had various interests of swimming, gourmet cooking, gardening, kayaking, traveling, playing piano, horseback riding, and visiting with friends and family. She also shared many wonderful years with her partner, Dan as they enjoyed dinners and socializing with others. She found it gratifying to spend time with her children and grandchildren lounging and entertaining around the pool at their home. Aylene, you left us too soon and you will be missed dearly, but we take comfort in knowing that your suffering is over and you are at peace. We will love and remember you always. The family appreciates the compassion shown by the doctors, nurses and staff of the St. Boniface Palliative Care Ward who made her time there as comfortable as possible. We also extend a special thank you to Dr. F. Crow and to her friends who provided considerable time, care and support. In lieu of flowers, donations in Aylene's memory may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society, 193 Sherbrook Street, Winnipeg, MB, R3C 2B7. A celebration of her life will be held on Saturday, October 10, 2009 at 12:30 p.m. at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Ave., and viewing one half hour prior. Chapel Lawn 885-9715
